About God Bless Humanity
As one human being to another, I sincerely welcome you to God Bless Humanity. To know that your spiritual path has brought you to this site warms my heart, and for that, I am grateful.
The phrase GOD BLESS HUMANITY has been ringing in my ears for a few
years now. I once heard Dr. Wayne Dyer talk about the phrase, ‘God Bless America’ and how he couldn’t wait for the day he would hear ‘God Bless Humanity’ instead. What a concept! I have many friends with close family members who do not live in the United States… why can’t I include them in my prayers too? Besides, with the Internet as a constant in many people’s daily lives, it only takes seconds to reach around the globe. Therefore, it seems absurd to take sides on this round planet we call home.
Growing up I had the opportunity of living in a household without the strict guidelines of a particular religion. Funny enough, all the morals and family values I learned from my parents were very similar to that of my friends who regularly went to church. People could never understand why I wasn’t Christian when so many of the core beliefs we shared parallel each other. Treat others as you’d like to be treated, love your neighbor as you love yourself, and give and it will be given to you, are just a few examples of such beliefs. I started to learn that the BASIC messages of religious & spiritual teachings were quite similar, and that our historical prophet’s always spoke of Unity.
Carl Jung once said, “The surest way to lose your soul is to believe in a God outside of yourself. There are an awful lot of people who’ve gone to church on a regular basis who’ve been on a one-way trip to losing their soul… Who believe in something that is external to ourselves”. Instead of stressing about living a life as a Christian, try to live a life as Christ did, or Buddha did, or Krishna did. Whatever your Source may be, try to live your life as if you were the Source. After all, if we are a piece of God… then aren’t YOU are a piece of God too? Life was meant to be abundant in all ways. And more than likely, your life is abundant in whatever your mind and thoughts are focused on. What is abundant in your life? Negativity? Debt? Success? Passion? Love? Peace? Unity? As spoken so beautifully by Dr. Wayne Dyer, ‘When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will change’.
There is a shift going around all over the world. People from all places are beginning to stand up for the vision of Unity. There is no governing body leading this movement. It is alive in the hearts of humankind. Even the publishing and entertainment industries are taking notice and producing inspiring books, videos and music. The power of love, peace & compassion is hundreds of times stronger than the force of negativity, pessimism, & hatred. The shift is happening… can you feel it? A change is in the air, and I am so thankful to be alive in a time such as this.
